Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. While the baklava is baking, combine water, sugar, honey, and vanilla extract in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until dissolved, and allow to boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and promptly pour the syrup over the hot baklava, allowing it to soak in. Let cool completely, then cut into diamond shapes. Optional: garnish with crushed pistachio crumbs for an extra touch of elegance.
